Current Ministry Needs - Pray with us!
Updated JULY 2008 ~ COME ON SUMMERTIME!
* S ummertime is here! That means Summer Missions at BnF San Antonio is in full swing! Pray for our groups, our program changes each week. By Summers end we will have hosted hundreds of young people in the inner city of San Antonio, working to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Pray for our safety, and that God would bless the work of our hands and greatly impact the lives of those coming here to help out and those we seek to serve.
 * Urgent: We have the opportunity to purchase the HUGE vacant lot across the street from our 2 Ministry Houses. Pray for this miracle! We beleive this piece of land is to be the site of a Neighborhood Rec Center, that we plan to build!
 * Pray for our upcoming Back to School event, "Share Your Sole." At this event, August 23, we will give away hundreds of pairs of new shoes to kids in the area, just in time for the new school year. Ask God to provide.
* We are in the midst of remodeling "Annie's House", a multi-purpose house in our BnF Neighborhood which will include living quarters, a conf. room,, and quiet space for staff. Mary's House has been completed and is a busy place! We are extremely excited and strongly believe that this is the next phase for us! So friends, pray for continued wisdom and funding as we build, naturally and spiritually!
PRAY FOR OUR NEIGHBORHOOD CHILDREN! THEY ARE COMING, AND COMING AND WE VERY BUSY WITH THEM!
We desperately need to sell a parcel of land given to the ministry; this parcel is in New Braunfels and is for sale.
Pray for favor with several grant opportunities that have been submitted!

The Importance of Prayer!

     Through the ministry of prayer and intercession at BnF, we strive to see the power of God released in our own lives, our families, our church, the inner city communities, and beyond, all for the advancement of the Kingdom of God here on earth.
It is our mission to lead as many as possible toward a fervent prayer life. Each and everyone shall learn to boldly, confidently, and aggressively pray about matters on the heart of God. Through prayers and intercession, and utilizing prayer support ministries, we will see the power of God released and the Kingdom of God advanced in our midst, particularly through young people, and among the poor of our cities.
